Chef Bernard.Com

There is this place in Makati that i find quite intriguing really… first of all, first time i really been to a place literally named after a domain and unfortunately they don’t exactly own
that domain but instead they own the .com.ph variant of it so why not just name it ChefBernard.com.ph? Anyways i do hope they get the same exact domain or change the name of the place altogether, cause i personally gone to ChefBernard.com immediately after connecting to their Wi-Fi.

The simplistic design and lack of advertisements of the place really appeals to me, and the fact it’s in a location away from the busy and crowded set of a mall really just puts the mind at ease. Although you may have a great amount frustration with parking as the only thing available there is roadside street parking.

A little bit about the owner and namesake of the restaurant: Chef Bernard is an Ilonggo, a former professional model, a graduate at Le Cordon Bleu, and a long time big02resident of Pasadena, California. While residing in the states, he has had vast experiences as an entrepreneur, including creating new dishes and desserts for various fine dining restaurants. Aside from showcasing his home made dishes to Pinoy households, his tarts also has a tremendous following in a Hollywood Thai restaurant perfected through years of cooking experience. His partner on the other hand is Randy Ortiz, also an Ilonggo, Fashion designer par excellance, a degree holder of Hotel and Restaurant Management from De Lasalle University, a self confessed food lover, loves to host small parties, an astute entrepreneur who aims to develop with Chef Bernard a niche in the restaurant industry and a cult following from people who simply wants a great dining experience.

I did like everything expect perhaps for… the pork binagoongan for being too salty? But everything else checks out according to my taste buds! And the prices won’t break the bank! 😉 And yeah, no special mentions this time other than they use organic ingredients!
