This movie is a spinoff of the Paranormal Activity franchise, and is the fifth installment for it. I liked this movie more compared to Paranormal Activity 4, The change of setting definitely gave it a new feel, but everything was predictable, did not really give any unexpected surprises. Watching this in a theater sporting Dolby Atmos was kind of a waste, I did not notice anything happening up above. ( Maybe because the movie is not done for Atmos? EDIT: Definitely not )
After finishing the movie, don’t stay after the credits, there is nothing there. Not like Paranormal Activity 4.
