Do you know the next best thing to Fried Chicken? Well Stackers Burger Café has done something that has never been done before in the Philippine Fastfood industryit’s the Stackers ‘Baked Fried Chicken’ that claims to have 80% less oil than the run of the mill Fried Chicken that we all know and love.

Before we go any further let me tell you their short history. Stackers. The Stackers Burger Café Baked Fried Chicken is another food innovation from Bryan Tiu, founding owner of Teriyaki Boy before he sold 70% of the brand to the Pancake House Group in 2005. A prime restaurateur with several known food brands under his I-Foods, Inc., Tiu is at the helm of other homegrown brands like Tokyo Café, Peri-Peri Chicken and Kogi Bulgogi.

If you look on the bottom of the poster above, you can see it says “DARE TO COMPARE” well i did ‘dare to compare’ After eating at Stackers, i gone to a popular joint where they sell fried chicken. And much to my amazement they are right, i noticed how much more oil the chicken had. You gotta try it yourself!

Baked Fried Chicken:

  • 80% less oil (than the regular fried chicken) making it lighter and healthier than any other fired chicken in the metro
  • The unique cooking method reduces the oil absorption while preserving the juice and flavor of the chicken.
  • A special recipe brings out the crispiness of the chicken skin and tenderness of the meat.

There are two serving styles for the chicken, one of which is with rice or chicken in 1pc or 2pcs. And the other one is just pure chicken goodness! Stack of 3, 6, 12, 15, and a massive 30! All of them have gravy. (what is chicken without gravy?)
