Sennheiser SC 260 Circle headset wins prestigious red dot design award

Copenhagen, March 2012 – The success of Sennheiser design continues this year with the SC 260 Circle headset. Especially developed / designed for contact center and office environments, this headset recently won one of the highly renowned red dot design awards. The international jury of experts was thoroughly convinced by the headset’s attractive, comfortable design and productivity-enhancing features.

Oliver Berger, Global Design Manager at Sennheiser, states: “We’ve specially designed user-friendly features – like CircleFlexTM and the microphone’s boom arm – to meet our strict criteria, which include wearing comfort, acoustics and usability. As a result, our engineers have been able to produce an extremely attractive design. This is just as much a part of our goal during development as is the headset’s functionality. CircleFlexTM is an example of this, and the award proves that we’ve done a successful job.”

Carefully matched to the needs of busy contact center and office environments, the dual-sided SC 260 Circle headset is the perfect combination of form and function. The attractive exterior design features classic hues and organic curves that blend in with any professional environment. At the same time, the functional design offers a supremely comfortable and instant fit. Designed by Sennheiser engineers, the CircleFlex™ ear cup system adapts seamlessly to a wearer’s ears for relaxed wearing all day. This is complemented by the lightweight steel headband with step-by-step adjustment for an optimal fit and lasting comfort.

The Circle headset series features a single- and dual-sided model that work with interfaces for desk phones and softphones.
